Payroll Supervisor
Job responsibilities:
- Capture, process & check all payroll information accurately for the HO Payroll.
- Keep payroll information up to date, secure & confidential.
- Process HO travel claims & subsistence allowances weekly
- Ensure that all salary input (new engagements, terminations, maternity leave etc) is captured accurately and is signed off
- Ensure that any errors on the salary input are corrected
- Submit all Head Office input to the Payroll Manager to sign off
- Send out variance reports and liaise with stores and head office departments on the reports, the identification and resolution of errors
- Manage all the queries on the variance report
Job requirements:
- Grade 12
- Minimum 5 years' experience in payroll essential
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Computer literate - MS Excel, MS Word essential and Dynamique will be an advantage
- Accuracy and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate with stores.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Well organised
- Ability to use own initiative and proactive by nature
- Ability to work independently, but also be a team player
- High level of integrity.
- Strong reconciliation abilities
- Good administration skills and abilities and be comfortable with high volumes of documentation.
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
