As well as to supervise and oversee the running of payroll and subsequent processing activities aimed at achieving organisational strategic objectives. and supporting as subject matter expert on Tax, Accounting and System related requirements for payroll.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible to:

• Sound knowledge of employee and employer tax liability.
• Reconcile and file payroll tax deductions accurately and timeously as perstatutory requirements.
• Montioring and overseeing the incorporation of legislative and employee changes into the SAP HRP system.
• Review payroll third-party payments within the service level agreements.
• Responsible for the reconciliation and manual submission process ofIRP5/IT3A.
• Supevisepayroll finance team and review work performed, including mentoring and coaching.
• Sound knowledge of the payroll system and ensuring that the necessary changes are submitted, tested and completed per the statutoryrequirements and deadlines.
• Monitorprocesses, system conditions and trends to improve productivity and efficiency relating payroll systems.
• Identify and implementsystem optimisations by automating manual, erroneous and time consuming processes with the robotics team.
• Review and/or compile standard operating procedures for payroll due to changes or new processes.

What are we looking for?

• Relevant Payroll / Finance National Diploma.
• 5 or more years' Payroll experience (at least 2 of these in a SAP environment) and2 or more years' supervisory experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislations.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
