Lead the People Analytics practice, providing business with strategic people insights and data-driven solutions which enables and supports business and workforce objectives. Manage the design, implementation and running of the Group Human Capital data technology platform.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- 7-10 years' experience successfully leading teams who manage multiple priorities.
- 7-10 years' experience in statistical analysis, data modeling, predictive analytics, and data visualisation techniques.s.
- 3-5 years' experience in using advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).
- 3-5 years' experience applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems
- Strong expertise in people analytics, HR analytics, workforce planning within a financial services industry (advantageous).
- Demonstrated track record of delivering strategic business analytics solutions and capabilities.
- Demonstrated track record of translating data into actionable insights and delivering strategic recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in developing and driving Artificial Intelligence solutions and techniques.
- Strong expertise in formulating business problems to enable statistical modelling.
- Build, develop and lead the overall people analytics strategy in line with the people strategy, business objectives as well as organisational maturity.
- Design solutions in line with the people analytics agenda aligned to business processes that need to be measured and analysed.
- Provide strategic insights, recommendations and solutions to key stakeholders and executives based on data analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting.
- Build advanced analytics, automation of reporting, dashboards, visualisation, storytelling and influencing capabilities to drive improvement and data-based decisions.
- Lead discovery processes with business stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities that may be addressed with statistical modelling or machine learning.
- Provide thought leadership on emerging trends, best practices, and innovative approaches in people analytics and data analysis across the human capital value chain.
- Oversee the data management platform architecture ensuring optimal data management, delivery and performance.
- Elicit the business requirements and uncover business opportunities, resulting functionality, data and processes needed in order to design and implement the appropriate solution.
- Provide frameworks to best identify, understand, and interpret data structures across various databases within the business to facilitate data analysis and continuous monitoring activities.
- Oversee the sourcing of data, data mining and to continuously enrich data sets.
- Build data models to support predictive and descriptive analysis
- Ensure that data analytics and reports provided to the business are accurate, reliable and timeous.
- Manage data integrity and cleansing activities in order to continuously improve the quality and completeness of data.
- Model and frame business scenarios that are meaningful and which impact on critical business processes and/or decisions.
- Extend existing code and develop custom code to implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms and data mining techniques for large datasets in a computationally efficient manner.
- Interpret results and translate findings into clear and actionable insights that can be easily validated.
- Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and data-driven processes that drive business value.
- Manage the development and ongoing review of the data governance framework and standards in-line with applicable Group and Legislative requirements.
