We are looking for an Employee Engagement Specialist to focus on the global Employee Listening and Survey Strategy, designing, implementing, and managing impactful action plan aimed at understanding key workplace success factors therefore improving employee engagement and cultivating a high-performance culture at Smollan. The right candidate will be instrumental in gathering employee feedback, measuring engagement, and using data-driven insights to shape our workplace culture positively.
As a People Specialist: Employee Engagement, you will be responsible for:
Employee Engagement & Listening Strategy
- Build a people-centric, data-driven employee engagement framework and strategy with a clear and impactful narrative, fostering high levels of engagement
- Develop a comprehensive employee survey strategy that aligns with organisational goals and objectives, defining the scope, objectives, timelines and reporting for the following (but not limited to):
- Engagement Survey
- Pulse
- Values 360 Survey
- Onboarding Surveys
- Exit Survey
- Work closely with the People Team and leadership to develop and implement employee engagement strategies, action plans and policies
- Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations, providing a clear picture of employee engagement and sentiment
- Continuously monitor and adjust strategies based on feedback and data analysis
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) when handling employee data
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information
- Leverage our employee data insights to continuously enhance and improve employee onboarding and offboarding processes:
- C-band and above on-boarding journey management, enhancement, reporting and insights.
- Off-boarding journey management, enhancement, reporting and insights
- Deploy and manage new exit survey
- Establish Alumni programme
- Provide clear and effective counsel to management on people engagement related topics across the employee lifecycle
- Utilise employee, macro, and competitor insights, nurturing and enriching all employee engagement strategies; ensuring the business is keeping pace with future fit developments.
- Utilise relevant data and compare results to established objectives to assure the effectiveness of engagement programmes and spend
- Provide management information and reports on employee engagement initiatives as required.
- Prepare and manage associated budgets, clearly communicating budgeting requirements to business stakeholders
- Measure the impact of all engagement programmes across key business metrics, such as retention rates, productivity, and profitability, demonstrating the ROI of Employee Engagement efforts
To qualify for this role, you should have
- Degree in Human Resources or relevant field
- 6-7 years Employee Experience, engagement, and Culture role. Relevant exposure to local and global environment.
- Ability to interpret data and create measurable action plans
- Compare, correlate and integrate datasets & build actionable insights across employee life cycle to engagement profile
- Sound Knowledge of EVP principles
