You will report to Emarcia, our People Systems Manager, and will be responsible for ensuring that all users of the People System have a positive experience through day-to-day support, understanding their user requirements and providing best in class service to meet their needs. You will be the first point of contact for any day-to-day queries relating to the people system, offering proactive support and solutions to various challenges.
You will work closely with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that we create buzz and excitement through our People Systems for all our Sigma colleagues so as they are utilized throughout their employee journey with us. You will support the development of new People initiatives by creatively utilizing the system capabilities, so we are always improving in what we do. You will deliver regular updates to the People Systems Manager and other key stakeholders to update on system configuration as well as process improvement progress and opportunities.
What will you bring?
- You will have 1-2 years experience working with a People System (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- You will have 1-2 years experience of working in the back end / configuration of a people system (highly advantageous if this is on SAGE People, particularly the cloud version)
- You have intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
- You can analyze data and develop reports and updates clearly outlining the insights and findings
- You have a broad understanding of HRIS setups and bulk data transfers
- You have strong stakeholder relationship skills and are able to effectively communicate with all levels of the business
- You are able to work autonomously to meet project deadlines and also work as part of team to meet objectives
- You are a confident team player who strives to deliver an exceptional service to all stakeholders
- You have a curious mindset which means you are always on the lookout to learn in order to improve the system so as it delivers an exceptional value-add service
- You have a pragmatic approach which ensures that all Client and legal requirements are achieved and that processes are built with an exceptional people experience in mind.
