Personal and admin assistant needed

Half-day personal assistant needed in Kenilworth.

Job requirements:

  • General office administration
  • Reading, monitoring and responding to Emails
  • Drafting correspondence on boss’s behalf
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Managing and reviewing filing and office systems
  • Bookkeeping experience - Invoices, statements and balance sheets
  • Computer literacy
  • Microsoft windows – Word and Excel
  • Email and Internet
  • Social media – Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest
  • People skills - Staff and client liaison
  • Manage and source resources and conduct research
  • Managing ad hoc projects
  • Travel arrangements
  • Self-motivated, organised
  • Proactive, multi-tasking
  • Computer literate – excellent use of Excel non-negotiable
  • Cordial and friendly demeanour
  • Timeous and efficient
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
  • Discretion – maintaining confidentiality
  • Capable of competently dealing with situations in boss’s absence
  • Must have own drivers licence and vehicle to run errands when necessary
  • Working hours: 08h30 to 14h00, Monday to Friday; Saturday’s on request
  • Start date: Immediate

Job responsibilities:

  • Time and daily management
  • Diary management
  • Planning and organising meetings
  • Preparing papers and presentations for meetings
  • Dictation and writing minutes
  • Stock controls – stock and stationery
