We are currently in the process of recruiting a Personal Assistant for the Managing Director based in Benoni in South Africa. The role will report directly to the Managing Director of South Africa. The job holder will bring fresh enthusiasm, motivation to help strengthen the team. Purpose of the Job:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
Description of Accountabilities:
- Type agendas for meetings
- Prepare meeting packs and distribute to Senior Manager and/or Customers at least two days prior to the meeting.
- Attend, record and transcribe minutes when required
- Arrange customer visits according to arrangements with MD
- Do Managers accommodation and flight reservations and bookings
- Assist with e-mails
- Provide receptionist services for MD:
- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous manner
- Answer phones in a courteous manner
- Record messages accurately
- Direct calls and respond to inquiries
- Make appointments
- Provide information of a general nature
- Manage MD diary
- Customer & Company liaison
- Logistics
Perform all other related duties as and when required.
Qualifications, Competencies & Attributes Required for the Position:
- Matric with an advance Secretarial Diploma
- Fully bilingual in English and home language
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Advance admin skills
- Fully Computer literate in MS Office especially in Excel
- Analytical and Innovative thinker
- Pro-Active
- Reliable and Punctual
- Accuracy and Attention to detail
