Personal Assistant at Tax Consulting SA

A Personal Assistant role is a versatile one, with various duties, and such requires an adaptable professional.

To ensure success as a Personal Assistant, you should exhibit excellent organisational skills and demonstrable experience in secretarial and business administration roles.

Accomplished Personal Assistants are intuitive to the needs of their Director being able to anticipate and take precautionary action beforehand and work autonomously to provide customized administrative support.

To be successful, you will need to be able to:
  • Report directly to Director and performing secretarial and administrative duties.
  • Typing, formatting, drafting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations etc.
  • Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of Director.
  • Liaising with internal departments, answering calls and minute taking etc.
  • Providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments and preventing conflicts.
  • Making travel arrangements, such as booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Observing best business practices and etiquette at all times.
  • Including but not limited to the above.
Requirements
  • Qualification in secretarial work, office administration, or related training.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant would be advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using office software such as MS Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced typing, note-taking, recordkeeping, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage internal and external correspondence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
