Sustainability
- Ensure compliance with all PMI and legal standards, policies, and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset, or societal loss.
- Promote an interdependent and clear safety culture, encouraging a preventive/predictive approach in line with manufacturing standards.
- Contribute to daily planning, share ideas for maintenance tasks during scheduled downtime, and discuss strategies for handling repair and maintenance costs.
- Ensure that Reapplication Management & Kaizens are completed in accordance with QMS requirements as a technical expert.
- Participate as a technical expert in problem-solving processes to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure that each modification to the process guarantees the quality of the product.
- Provide guidance in problem-solving activities, mentoring on standard tools to resolve line-related issues with materials and processes.
- Propose and implement efficient maintenance standards from a quality perspective.
- Ensure self and team capabilities are aligned with global manufacturing standards for autonomous/self-sufficient teams.
- Lead the scheduling and participate in the execution of regular planned downtime in compliance with maintenance tasks.
- Review, prioritize, and manage 24-hour work notifications and backlog work orders to meet business results.
- Ensure technical documentation and spare parts are up-to-date and available.
- Participate in the development and review of the line(s) annual maintenance plan.
- Collect feedback to advance and enhance maintenance strategies.
- Own Breakdown Elimination, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, and Maintenance Cost Management DMSs. Co-own Defect Handling to integrate into the scheduling board
- Contribute to the development, completion, and review of the 90-day master plan to improve machine performance by minimizing scheduled and unscheduled downtime.
- Prepare monthly and yearly Loss Analysis for Repair and Maintenance costs, propose and monitor budgets and RFs.
- Support the team's growth in preventive/predictive techniques, technical competence, and technical fixing through mentorship and practical training.
- Support and validate Kaizens raised by teams by completing appropriate risk assessments as a technical expert.
- Mentor the autonomous/self-sufficient team to build technical capabilities on equipment.
- Communicate timely on loss elimination priorities, plans, and responsibilities to ensure multi-functional alignment.
- Share knowledge and methods to encourage and champion benchmarking, reapplication, and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of your own training plan and align with the requirements set forth in the Qualification Matrix.
- Act as a Pillar Member of the assigned pillar.
- Minimum National Diploma in Engineering
- Millwright trade test qualification with strong Electrical Heavy current is advantageous
- Minimum 2 years experience in the Utilities environment
- Exposure to continuous improvement tools is advantageous
- Proven track record in people coordination/management activities is an asset.
- Solid computer skills in Microsoft
- Proficiency in critical metric tracking and monitoring, Maintenance systems, SAP, as well as Budgeting and cost control.
