- Masters degree in Social Science and Humanities or related field
- Registered for a Doctoral degree
- Two years of teaching experience at an institution of higher learning.
- Must be able to teach the above-mentioned modules in the Extended Programme
- Participate in administrative duties
- Undertake research either individually or in collaboration
- Participate in different committees at the departmental and faculty level
- Participate in community initiatives embarked on by the department and faculty
- Any other duties related to academic and professional development of self and students
- A Doctoral degree in Social Science and Humanities
- Experience teaching in an extended program
- Experience in supervision of postgraduate students
