We are looking for a talented Photographer who will be focused on high-end creative photography. The successful individual will manage the efficient delivery of high-quality images and/or videos that meet the brand's specifications for quality and consistency while maintaining studio volumes and capturing the benefits and uniqueness of each product at its highest visual potential.
What You'll Do
- Computer, photography and photo editing experience preferred
- Stage and photograph products onsite in a photography studio and on location, and process images through post-production
- Create imaging assets that showcase products at their highest visual potential
- Produce digital images that meet production standards and require minimal reshoots and retouching
- Explore trends and evolve photo ideation for collaboration with design / creative teams.
- Customer Service Oriented must enjoy working with people
- Must be flexible with schedule and weekend work is required
- Position requires standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 30+ lbs.
- Adhere to brand and product style guides to ensure photograph alignment and consistency
- Fulfil file-naming and metadata initiatives to fulfil accurate and complete digital asset protocols for all files.
- Maintain and manage equipment, and keep studio clean and ready for use at all times
This job is for you if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of e-commerce studio photography experience
- Strong knowledge of apple, Canon systems and strobe lighting essential.
- Experience in fashion, product or jewellery product photography preferred
- Knowledge of product staging and lighting for photoshoots, including white background, prop, and lifestyle/action settings
- Experience with Canon cameras/software
- Proficiency in photo/image editing software, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture 1 Proficiency with Mac OS environments and software packages
- Experience with image file prep and asset management
- Experience working with RAW / PSD / TIFF / J-PEG formats
- Speed and quality of output
- Photoshop and Bridge Composition of multiple images
- Degree in photography or visual communication advantageous
- Solid and polished retouching skills keen eye and aesthetic
- Has a sharp eye for composition, crop, and colour correction skills.
- Have the ability to work collaboratively and deliver quality imagery
- Has strong knowledge of colour theory
- Be proactive and able to show initiative to foresee and resolve problems related to imagery
- Has proven ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
