Picker/Driver - Warehouse

Role Duties And Responsibilities

• Picker:
• Pulls stock items from the shelves based on product type and quantity.
• Ensures that orders are accurately picked.
• Record stock cards.
• Check to ensure products are damage free.
• Remove defective products or materials (expired stock).
• Verify product and quantities picked against the pick tickets.
• Pack orders securely utilising correct packaging materials provided.
• Ensure that the customer's name is correct on the package.
• Weigh the parcel and record dimensions on the package.
• Prepare package for Courier or collection.
• Ensure stock on the shelves are replenished timeously.
• Quality control of stock.
• Daily stock counts.
• Investigate stock issues
• Driver o Record pre-trip inspections.
• Delivers high quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains good customer relations.
• Maintains delivery logs and records.
• Always monitor vehicle service intervals and complete daily driving logbook.
• Follow daily route instructions while obeying all rules of the road.
• Report any accidents or incidents.
• Keep vehicle neat and tidy.

Role Experience And Qualifications

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
• Code 10 driving license with PDP.
• 1 2 years relevant experience within a Dispatch or Warehouse environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Ability to follow concise instructions.
• Able-bodied and fit, as this is a physically demanding position.
• Strong work ethic, dependable and high attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Organised and punctual.

We are currently recruiting for a Picker/Driver for a client based in the Parow Industria Area. The ideal candidate should have warehousing experience and a Code 10 License with PDP.
