MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Must have M+3-year qualification in Finance/IT/Social Science or equivalent.
- 3 years of working experience in a university environment directly involved with Residence ITS Systems.
- 1-2 years of Supervisory experience
- Proven experience in dealing with managing information and updating records.
- Ability to deliver high levels of client service.
- Ability to handle difficult situations both robustly but also with tact and sensitivity.
- High level of IT skills or ITS proficiency
- Excellent ability in written and oral communication
- Knowledge of residence policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize work and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with students and stakeholders from a range of linguistic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Integrity and personal rapport in dealing with students
- Ability to deal with internal/external auditors.
- Knowledge of budgeting and ability to scrutinize the budget report.
- Billing of students
- Coordination and administration of the application process for both continuing and first-time entering students.
- Coordinate the Audit process during the residence external auditing cycle.
- Coordination of budget for the leased residences and liaise with the Budget office regarding all the relevant residence budget matters.
- Liaise with accommodation officers and service providers.
- Managing the placement of students
- Scheduling and planning for the year ahead and future placements
- Provide updated reports for management information.
- Communicate with students and relevant stakeholders (internal and external) via email, telephone, and in person to maintain relationships.
