Key Performance Area
- Inventory Planning & Analysis
- Plan seasonal sales forecast to revenue and product margin targets for Retail and Ecommerce
- Key metric review: Product Margin, ATV, UPT, ASP
- Promotional reviews
- Store capacity and SKU capacity & productivity
- Actual sales versus sales forecast
- Product aging
- Seasonal post-mortem
- On Time and In Full (OTIF) retail reporting
- Weekly store EOD report reviews and actions
- Daily KPI Report
- Provide input into retail store grid assortment based on historical data and consumer profile
- In season planning reviews versus plan and sales forecast adjustments
- Seasonal allocation plan together with marketing calendar and visual merchandising requirements
- Work with brand principal counterparts on all forecasting requirements
- Plan inventory for staff uniforms, staff allocation and marketing seeding
- Stock Procurement
- Generate demand plan per channel in line with OTB targets
- Ensure product arrival is aligned to seasonal launch plan
- Internal order placement and ongoing management
- Inventory Control

- Manage inventory per location (virtual & store locations), including investigations to resolve stock queries
- SAP inventory accuracy management by location (virtual & store locations)

- Build relationships with key stakeholders (Group Planning Lead etc.), customers, supplier and partners

- Fill Retail Internal Orders on a weekly basis

- Set up and maintain replenishment cadence by store, which is cost effective (courier) and meets store sales requirement
- Maintain allocation tool and implement developments when needed (excel based)

- Mentor and coach Retail Inventory Controller to ensure to ensure an optimal team strategy is achieved
- Handle IR issues and performance management and discuss disciplinary requirements with HCM
- Manage the GOLP process of for all team members
- Monitor the application of the HR Value Chain and adherence to people-related SOPs
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Degree in Retail, Business or any other related field
- 3+ years experience in merchandise planning in a retail environment
- Strategic agility and able to articulate a vision and purpose.
