· Standard 10 / Grade 12
· Min 3 years in a production environment with at least 2 years planning and scheduling experience in a similar environment.
· Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.
· Excellent computer skills, working with MS Office and Amtrack
· Must be prepared to work overtime / weekends / shifts in accordance with operational requirements

· Handle all emails and communications timeously and promptly
· Print out plans and adjust/correct plans as necessary
· Liaise with Sales on progress and any envisaged delays timeously.
· Liaise with Sales on the daily plan at the beginning of each shift or as soon as possible.
· Adjust plans to accommodate special requests.
· Check that handovers are correct from last shift and updates and lists are correct.
· Monitor hand over’s to ensure smooth transition of information and plans.
· Report any deviations from plan or problems to Planner timeously
· Monitor replacements to ensure minimal disruption to plans.
