Vehicle Parts Planner - Johannesburg Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for an Vehicle Parts Planner in the Johannesburg area to join their team

Job Summary

The role is responsible for Planning, purchasing, stock control of vehicle parts. The role handle dealership queries and increase parts supply fill rate. The job holder should have the ability to predict market sales and prepare stock in advance.

Qualifications And Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Technical or related field.
• Extensive experience in OEM spare parts and warehouse management.
• Excellent communication and cross-cultural teamwork abilities.
• Have logical and analytical thinking skills.
• Advanced computer skills (Ms. office suite)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop a spare parts inventory plan to match the retention and sales plan of all models.
• Develop a spare parts procurement plan based on the spare parts inventory planning, including spare parts sourced from China, as well as spare parts sourced from the local South African market.
• Continuously monitor the fulfilment rate of spare parts orders from dealers/service stations and be responsible for the fulfilment rate of spare parts orders.
• Setting and updating spare parts sales prices and being accountable for annual sales targets and profit targets for spare parts.
• Developing space utilisation plans for the spare parts depot, ensuring space utilisation of the spare parts depot, and efficiency of spare parts picking and packing.
• Managing depot suppliers, setting task targets for depot suppliers and being responsible for the quality of their work and results.
• Managing spare parts sales supervisors, directing them to develop work plans and set KPI's, and being responsible for the performance of employees.
• Develop annual spare parts strategy, report progress of spare parts work and next phase plan every month and submit weekly report on spare parts satisfaction rate and other data.
