Minimum Requirements For The Role
- Must have a Bachelor of Engineering or similar tertiary qualification
- Minimum 8 years experience in a similar management role, within a Chemical manufacturing and blending environment is essential
- Must be proficient in managing capital budgets and projects
- Experience in the skilful management of suppliers, service providers, and third-party contractors will be required
- Knowledge of foliar feed and biological fertiliser production will be a distinct advantage
- Managing the raw material intake process, planning, and quality control.
- Supervising and managing fertiliser production activities.
- Overseeing the outbound distribution process.
- Ensuring the execution of maintenance functions.
- Upholding housekeeping standards.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensuring adherence to ISO requirements.
- Efficiently managing costs and stock.
- Handling administration functions.
- Identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compiling and submitting monthly reports.
