The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following
- Grade 12
- A Degree in Chemical/ Metallurgical Engineering or related BEng./ BSc. Eng. qualification
- A minimum of 7 years working experience within a manufacturing environment/similar, whereby 3 years should be at the first-line management level within the Project Management / Operations fraternity
- Focus on measuring the Refinery Operations efficiencies and develop improvement initiatives for implementation and realization of the improved plant performance.
- Co-ordinates metal accounting, accuracy, reporting, and metal monitoring.
- Renders a comprehensive process and metallurgical engineering service on projects/investigations, to all other engineering disciplines involved and the client (source/owner of the project/ investigation).
- Manages and coordinates the technical activities of the Refinery.
- Evaluate process feasibility, environmental impact, economic, and value evaluation studies. May prepare recommendations for capital expenditure for projects.
