Who we want:
The PMO Manager will be responsible to oversee and manage project management activities related to business process improvement initiatives, new IT solutions and other projects that are important for our business to build organizational capability. The person will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective project execution, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of projects within budget. Primary focus will be on managing cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with local and regional key stakeholders to develop and define project scope aligned with the Business Enablement Solutions Team
- Responsible for evaluating a range of projects with the goal of facilitating staffing, resolving resource allocation conflicts, and monitor staff utilization on the activities that will generate the highest business value aligned with the prioritization process. May recruit, hire, onboard, manage, and develop direct staff.Connect with other PMO`s globally and share best practices through our Project Management community.
- Contribute to the detailed project Gantt chart. Collaborate with PM on major workstreams, and intersecting milestones. Own your teams project schedule
- Ensure implementation of Quality Management strategies and templates and be a strategic partner in the selection of Quality partners.
- Implement risk management strategies and templates for projects or program enabling effective identification and monitoring of risk response.
- Manage all levels of project managers and/or people managers and coach team members and peers to elevate team performance.
- Drive project and program cost efficiencies and make portfolio spend decisions.
- Forge strong relationships with outside colleagues and incorporates insight on common delivery and execution challenges from network to drive projects and improve team performance
- 8+ years of work experience including previous experience in establishing a PMO function within a complex business environment
- BS or equivalent
- PMP or equivalent
- MBA and/or MS preferred
- Knowledge of PM software and Resource Planning Tools preferred
- Lean Certifcation required from an accredited program
