The Role
The position requires expertise in video production and post-production. Knowledge of online media and social media is an advantage.
Solid administration skills are required, as well as excellent people management, and ability to work to deadlines. Creative input and direction during the various stages of the production will be required.
The job process and requirements include the following:
Your role will be that of a Producer, meaning you will lead and project manage a campaign from the moment the client brief is received, all the way through to delivery.
A highly organised, naturally confident communicator - youll act as the lynchpin between all departments, ensuring work is allocated correctly, delivered on time and within budget and that all relevant stakeholders are happy with the work. A calm, authoritative voice during stressful moments, youll ensure priorities are communicated to the relevant people as well as being a champion of the process.
Youll be an ever-visible presence, developing strong relationships within the agency at every level and maintain an understanding of all projects going through on the account.
You will also be involved in TV, print, radio etc campaigns, as well as extensions of global platform ideas, and in some cases, the strategic and creative origination of cross-channel campaigns for local brands.
Skills:
- Previous production management
- Previous experience across digital first briefs including social, website content, digital advertising and video
- Previous experience using with Bynder
- CMS skills would be beneficial
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with all people, at all levels.
- Can demonstrate the use of initiative and work well unsupervised
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- A flexible and pro-active approach while maintaining attention to detail
Briefing
- To receive a script/storyboard for briefing.
- To interpret the brief in order to ascertain production requirements, budget and timeline for preparation of cost estimate.
- Confirmation of the technical specifications, Client and Agency material requirements.
- Be able to ascertain required crew, equipment and other shooting requirements
- Negotiate and liaise with external suppliers.
- Source creative elements for a treatment.
- Prepare a detailed cost estimate with relevant supporting documentation, and present to Client.
- Input required billing and supplier information into Chase.
- Meet with Client/Agency to discuss the project before proceeding to production.
- Ensure availability of required crew.
- Book crew, equipment and obtain necessary permissions.
- Schedule and attend work-in-progress and Client meetings and ensure that all aspects of production are discussed and confirmed.
- Prepare accurate production schedule.
- Monitoring of any and all changes such as additional requirements, scripts, cast, music, etc.
- Co-ordinate all aspects required for the shoot.
- Distribute call sheets to crew and Client.
- Monitor budget on an on-going basis.
- Attend all production meetings.
- Management of the shoot crew, client etc.
- Client/Hogarth liaison.
- Ensure that the shot list and treatment is being adhered to.
- Manage production crew where necessary.
