Our Mission

inite Family motivates black South African teens via video mentoring to transform their lives by creating opportunities through choices, actions and hard work during secondary school. With comprehensive training and real-time support, our volunteer mentors, living in South Africa and 17 other countries develop their mentees' strengths in: education, career preparation, technology literacy, life skills and communication. By helping them learn to manage the toxic stress of growing up surrounded by extreme violence and poverty, Video Mentors help their mentees build resilience, resourcefulness and responsibility as they work toward economic stability and self-reliance.

Fun Fact About Us
We started video mentoring in Africa when Internet penetration was less than 5% (even before Skype) and have managed more than 40, 000 video conversations so far. Working in Lockdown hasn't phased our team - we've worked like this since 2006!.

What You'll Work On

• A new presentation, or update to an existing presentation in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
• Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective presentation

Additional Details
We have a template and the full content of the presentation we need - but it really needs a new, updated look. This project is to take what we have and make it better visually and more effective as a communication tool.
