Principal Business Analyst - Telecommunication

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Business Analyst with expertise in Telecommunications to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of Telecommunications management, broadband project management, and various tools associated with civil, construction, and telecommunications fibre optic facility management. The primary responsibilities of this role include business analysis, strategy development, technology definition, and specification development, as well as strategic planning, policy advisory, business development, and innovation management.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive knowledge of Telecommunications management and broadband project management to contribute to the successful execution of projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in broadband project management, particularly in civil, construction, and telecommunications fibre optic facility management tools.
• Conduct comprehensive business analysis and develop effective strategies to drive growth and success.
• Define and specify technology requirements to support project objectives.
• Provide strategic planning and policy advisory services to guide decision-making processes.
• Foster business development and innovation by identifying new opportunities and implementing strategic initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis and develop business models to assess project viability and potential profitability.
• Determine the best approach for advancing existing projects and ensure their successful implementation.
• Act as a telecommunications specialist, leveraging expertise to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
• Produce accurate and concise functional specifications to guide the development and implementation of telecommunications projects.
• Prepare project definition reports and other relevant documentation to facilitate project planning and execution.
• Thoroughly document projects, capturing key details, milestones, and outcomes for future reference.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Telecommunications industry, specifically in business analysis and project management.
• Proven track record of successful broadband project management, including civil, construction, and telecommunications fibre optic facility management.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to develop effective strategies aligned with organizational goals.
