Principal End User Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with a National Diploma/Degree or relevant technical certification (such as MCSE) and ITIL certification. With 4 years of experience in providing comprehensive support for a range of end-user systems including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. You will be essential in maintaining and enhancing our IT environment, delivering high-quality technical support, and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert technical support for end-user systems, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to restore functionality and ensure user satisfaction.
  • Provide field support and on-site assistance to users, addressing a diverse range of technical problems.
  • Manage and maintain the end-user environment to minimize disruptions and uphold high service standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize support processes and enhance overall user experience.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • National Diploma/Degree or relevant technical certification (such as MCSE).
  • ITIL certification preferred.
  • 4 years of experience in supporting end-user systems and delivering technical assistance.
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle are mandatory.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling the physical demands of the role.
  • Willingness to work shift hours and travel within the metro area to provide on-site support.
