For this role, you will be expected to be located in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A Day in the Life
In your role you will be responsible for:
- Performing financial planning and analysis activities for Profits and Losses (P&L), expenses and revenue; supporting the South Africa organization.
- Interpreting, explaining, and driving business performance while supporting and influencing key operational and strategic decisions; providing key variables and analysis to identify actions to close gaps to target.
- Partnering with finance and the commercial organization to develop the annual operating plan (AOP) and re-occurring forecasting.
- Preparing and presenting monthly analysis, commentary and forecasting, including key drivers, performance metrics, risks and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining standardized reporting and analytics that can be leveraged across all businesses.
- Maintaining and developing a Power BI dashboard to track business performance.
- Collaborating with Sales and Supply Chain teams to optimize system tools and reporting; leveraging insights in order to make continuous improvements.
- University degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5 - 8 years of experience in financial planning, running forecasts, reporting, analysis of KPIs, revenue and expenses management.
- Proactive and action oriented ability to show initiative and act with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate financial data into concise information for management.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks, changing priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize systems/data to provide insightful analysis (Power BI and SAP Centerpiece).
