- Design and engineer food & beverage processing plants according to best engineering practice (hygienic design) and to a given budget and time line.
- Be part of a team doing project execution, including site installation, commissioning and handover
- Upon receipt of a customer order, to manage the successful execution of projects from design to handover
- Claim management
- Supervising drawing office and installation crew dedicated to a project.
- Sizing and ordering of equipment
- To provide customer quotations, costed according to Company risk and return
- Cost control according to calculated budget, maintaining/increasing project margins, using correct cost codes when placing orders
- Handle customer requirements and build long lasting customer relationships
- Quality assurance of sub-contractors and process drawings
- Work according to GEA Project Management and Execution guidelines and develop/improve project management skills

- Relevant qualification in Process / Chemical Engineering
- 4 10 years process engineering experience within the food and beverage industry
- Project management skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software,
