The Procurement Administrator provides support services to the Mine which is not limited to identifying materials / resources required on site to be procured, drafting of service level agreements, ensuring timeous ordering of stock and materials, and tracking orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Requesting of quotation / proposals
- Screening of suppliers and contractors
- Timeously ordering of stock and material
- Control and monitoring of expenses against budget
- Tracking of orders and following up on delivery times
- Reconciliation of order discrepancies with suppliers
- Vendor on-boarding and maintenance
- Processing of requisitions and purchase orders
- General administration
- Grade 12
- Certificate / Diploma in Supply chain or relevant qualification
- Computer literate in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid drivers license
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position in the mining industry (compulsory)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and technical understanding of mining processes
