The Procurement Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the procurement team. This includes processing purchase requisitions, goods receipts, maintaining procurement records, and assisting with supplier management. The Procurement Administrator will work closely with other departments to ensure that procurement needs are met, and that the organization is getting the best value for its money.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Process goods receipts for services and goods delivered
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities First line procurement support to end-users in Nordex SA
- Assist with supplier management, including supplier onboarding and supplier database
- Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any issues that arise
- Assist with ensuring compliance to developed and implemented procurement policies and procedures
- Assist with monitoring and report on procurement budget spend and savings
- Monitor purchase order balances and tracking actual payments Interface with end-users to ensure accuracy of procurement spending
- Track and maintain records on Economic Development procurement spend for quarterly reporting
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher certificate in procurement or finance or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and SAP procurement software
