The role of a Procurement Analyst is to work with data analytics to analyze, interpret and communicate complex data sets to support business decisions. This role will be liaising between internal departments and suppliers analyzing and comparing product samples and negotiating procurement contracts on behalf of our company.
The Procurement analyst will spend time developing various approaches to procuring and contracting external support from the marketplace in line with current industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Sciences, Business Mathematics.
- 2 years or more experience in Short-term Insurance
- 2 years or more experience in Microsoft Excel, SQL
- In-depth business management, supply chain, and strategic sourcing knowledge.
- Determining supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
- Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with management across various regions and operational areas.
- Documenting the features and benefits of products and services.
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by clients.
- Negotiating favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers.
- Documenting processes and generating monthly supply cost reports.
- Monitoring the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Keeping abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.
