Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelors Degree / Advanced Diploma in Business/ Commerce/ Management Studies.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1-2 years are at junior management level.
- Basic Knowledge of Procurement Processes.
- Financial acumen.
- Ensure the development, alignment, and implementation of end-to-end processes within area of accountability for continued process improvement.
- Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, develop and implement a supporting operational strategy.
- Develop, manage, and ensure effective implementation of procurement and associated frameworks.
- Develop and implement supplier dashboards to measure performance and quality assurance and to make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that contract pricing reviews occur timeously and that operational sourcing strategies are developed and implemented accordingly.
- Develop the Groups BBBEE framework and allocate work to ensure efficient management of the practice.
- Deliver, track and monitor savings as per identified sourcing targets and make recommendations for improvement.
- Report on progress against operational goals, highlight risks and make necessary adjustments.
- Apply the necessary discretion and judgement when making decisions to overcome problems in order to achieve set operational goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for professional services through collaboration with Cross Functional Teams (CFT) to enable integrated procurement operations.
