Procurement Specialist (Development & Construction) - Saudi Arabia

We are seeking several Senior Procurement Specialists to join our client's procurement team to work on an exciting project in Saudi Arabia.

Roles will be offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis and will be based in North West Saudi Arabia or Riyadh.

Responsibiities

• Undertake the Procurement process for RFI, RFP, E-procurement, negotiation and vendor management within the categories above
• Negotiating, drafting and completing contractual terms for projects and works within the Category
• Cultivate and manage key supplier relationships for long term strategic positioning
• Lead commercial negotiations through to contract award or amendment
• Own the development of category strategies including research and analysis (spend analysis, make vs. buy, cost benchmarking, etc.) to identify category saving opportunities and develop strategic category plans.
• Pursue continuous improvement of process and technologies and commercial innovation
• Provide expertise, guidance and training to others in the team on effective category management.

You must be able to demonstrate

• 10+ years experience in procurement
• Significant experience within construction; developing and constructing assets above ground, such as hospitals, buildings, educational institutions, familiar with the various stages of both the sourcing process and different types of contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at a senior level
• Experience undertaking multiple concurrent strategic sourcing activities
• Knowledge and experience of Vendor management
• Strong with Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient with vlookups and pivot tables.

These roles will be paying a generous monthly package including housing and relocation allowance.
