Job Purpose
Be an integral team member of and provide technical support to the field sales force, End Users and channel customers by bringing deep or specific product and application knowledge to help understand customer design, aid selection, to put Schneider products in the customer specifications and close deals.
By creating a high level of trust in the customer network gather information to help create Go-to-Market strategies and tactics in conjunction with the regional team.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Assist in achieving or exceeding the regions sales targets by using technical competence to give credibility and support to field sales, internal sales and channel partners.
- With the regional team develop a market saturation plan for the Schneider offer with measurable tasks and outcomes.
- Equip the channel partners (distributor, SIS, PnB, etc) to be an extension of the Schneider sales force.
- Use all relevant company tools such as the SCT, BFO & CRM to manage opportunities and plan actions.
- Ensure the teams deep product knowledge through continual development.
Requirements
- BSc / BEng / BEngTech or National Technical Diploma - Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Sales / business development training
- Minimum 5 years' technical sales experience
- MS Office proficiency
- CRM ( bFO / Salesforce )
