What a Product Designer Does at Agrigistics
As a Product Designer at Agrigistics, you don't merely create attractive designs. You're a key player in reinventing agri-tech and simplifying complex farming activities into user-friendly digital solutions.
You'll join a team passionate about making tech work for our farmersthe hardworking heroes who feed the world. As a Product Designer, you'll get to make a difference in an industry ready for change.
You'll focus on understanding our users: farmers who aren't always tech-savvy. It'll be your job to design a product that speaks to them based on empathy and a deep understanding of their needs.
You'll have the freedom and support to experiment, iterate, and refine your designs. We believe in creativity and initiative and are excited to see what you can bring to our team. This isn't your ordinary design jobit's a chance to create, innovate, and make a real difference.
Who is the person we are looking for?
- A collaborative team player with 2+ years of experience in product design, particularly in the UX field.
- Proficient in customer journey mapping, conducting customer interviews, rapid prototyping, iterating, and validating experiments.
- Demonstrates a strong portfolio expressing proficiency with design tools and showcasing the ability to create user-centred solutions.
- Proven track record of closely working with end-users to understand their needs and translating those insights into intuitive and efficient product designs.
- Embraces empathy and passion for understanding clients' unique needs and challenges and creating a user-friendly product accordingly.
- Excellent problem-solver who can work alongside our product manager/technical co-founders to solve real-world problems, guided by a deep understanding of the user's needs.
- Proactive and confident, doesn't wait for permission, and takes initiative to figure things out or find the right resources.
- Sets high personal and team performance standards, aiming for excellence in all tasks.
- Communicates clearly and efficiently, articulating key points that can affect change without being verbose or talkative.
- Reliable, living up to written and verbal agreements without frequent reminders or pushing, and delivering on promises.
- Brings a sense of fun to the team, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and appreciates the value of an enjoyable work environment.
