Job Overview:

We are seeking two passionate and driven Junior Product Developers to join our dynamic product development team for Personal Care and Appliances. The ideal candidates will support the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to market. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in product development to grow and advance their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in Product Development: Support senior product developers in creating and refining product concepts, prototypes, and final products. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products. Compile and analyse data to support product development decisions.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in product testing and quality assurance processes to ensure products meet the companys standards and customer expectations.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including specifications, user manuals, and technical reports.

Project Coordination: Assist in managing project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Communicate project status and issues to the development team and management.

Customer Feedback: Collect and analyse customer feedback to inform product improvements and modifications.

Category management Manage the category to ensure growth of the category in partnership with the sales team. Timely availability of products in line with customer requirements. Usage of sales data tools like PowerBi is essential.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, sales, compliance and manufacturing to ensure a cohesive product development and execution process.

Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and insights through PowerBI.

Utilize sales data to forecast future sales trends and make informed business decisions.

Qualifications:

Experience: up to 2 years of experience in product development, product design, or a related role. Internships and academic projects will be considered.

Technical Skills: familiarity with prototyping tools and techniques. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to conduct and interpret market research and product testing data.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights.

Proficiency in PBI and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to travel as required.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the consumer or FMCG retail space
