Job Description
The Product Quality & Innovations Manager, will be a key contributor to the company's success by delivering on the Fresh Product Calendar, creating awesome experiences for our guests and ensuring product quality is aligned with the brand standards and continuously adhered to.
Role aligns with Operations, Brand Marketing, and Innovations to successfully co-develop Limited Time Offerings (LTOs) from product briefs to launch.
Working closely with internal and external partners
Leading teams to execute on product freshness.
Key roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participates in all stages of the process, from ideation, product briefing, bench top development, collection of reviews through launch.
Collaborating and creating new products, balancing customer wow and operational ease with omnichannel lens.
Ensures products consistently meet marketing, financial, and operational goals.
Works closely with Marketing team from Calendar planning to creative think tank, to food styling - photo and video shoot and roll-out.
Works closely with the procurement team to source new ingredients and maintain vendor relationships.
Responsible for creating and presenting ingredient sample briefs to suppliers.
Accountable for maintaining accurate data in Product Vision for processing aids and formulations, along with ingredient specifications, testing evaluations and any other technical documentation and vendor communication that allow for consistent and reliable execution within the development process.
Partners with Operations and Training on all materials required from training to launch. Including training videos, accurate recipe cards and processing specifications.
Will manage a team of processors (decorating) from a creative, administrative (rosters, leave schedules) and leadership point of view.
Stays current on all new food technologies and products, leveraging supply chain partnerships, vendors, and culinary experts, bringing creative new ideas to the team.
