As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the software products and services. This role requires that the Product Manager owns and prioritizes the product backlog, defining user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The successful person should have expertise in understanding market trends, customer requirements, and business goals which will be essential in shaping the product roadmap and guiding the development process. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, technical acumen, and effective communication skills to bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Feedback Management: Act as the voice of the customer, gathering and incorporating customer feedback into the product development process
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with our Executive Team to develop and maintain a clear and compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the companys business objectives and customer needs.
- Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product enhancements and maintain a competitive edge.
- Product Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, continuously refining and grooming it to ensure it reflects current requirements, market trends, and user feedback. You will have the support of a project manager to assist you with execution and the management of delivery.
- User Story Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to write clear and concise user stories that capture product features, functionality, and acceptance criteria.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, QA, and other teams to ensure smooth execution of product initiatives, providing necessary guidance and support throughout the agile development lifecycle.
- Release Planning: Plan and coordinate product releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and updates while managing potential risks and dependencies.
- Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor key product metrics and usage data to assess the products performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking data-driven decisions.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain product documentation, user guides, and training materials to support customers, sales, and support teams.
- Product Evangelism: Champion the product internally and externally, participating in marketing and sales activities, and conducting product demos and presentations to customers, prospects, and stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Enterprise SaaS environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and the ability to adapt them to the organizations needs.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Technical acumen to understand complex software systems and articulate technical requirements to development teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field or other relevant advanced degrees are a plus.
