Product Owner (Software)

We are seeking a skilled and driven Software Product Owner to shape the roadmap and vision for our internal platform. As a Product Owner, you will deeply understand customer goals and needs through interviews, analysis, stakeholder insights, and usability testing. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) and lead discovery strategy phases. You will create requirements, refine them with development teams, and maintain a prioritized backlog. Stakeholder engagement, industry awareness, and onboarding strategies will be key responsibilities.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Effective customer engagement and prioritization based on data and insights.
• Proficiency in data analytics and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strategic thinking to hold the product vision and attention to detail for refinement.
• Strong internal stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Creation and maintenance of a product roadmap.
• Onboarding the team to feature requirements and user impact.
• Creating user stories, process flows, backlog grooming, and refinement.

Requirements

• A bachelors degree or equivalent/similar
• 5+ years hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
• Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
• Ability to think innovatively and design and deliver client-oriented digital solutions
• Customer-first mindset
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand their needs and build trusted relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Ability to perform well with defined timelines and milestones
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
• Work experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management is a plus
• Understanding of delivery methodologies with an emphasis on agile is a plus
