Product Owner

Responsibilities

Job Description

You will be responsible for enabling the delivery of TFG Rewards KPIs across the organisation. You will develop, articulate and implement detailed product roadmaps to guide the delivery of the TFG Rewards & Customer strategy. In addition, the role focuses on maximising commercial return, by leveraging the value created through omnichannel product experience.

Key Performance Areas

Product Management Solution
  • Ensure customer data and insights informs the product strategy, include competitor analysis as well as internal and external market intelligence, in collaboration with the business owners.
  • Develop business cases for improvements and enhancements to extend the product lifecycle of TFG Rewards & customer engagement products or services
  • Contribute to the update of existing product strategies, working closely with the team to manage the product lifecycle in its entirety, as well as the associated product roadmaps.
  • Facilitate the implementation of development processes for products with other business areas and external service providers, according to TFGs agile delivery model and establish ways of working within the TFG Rewards & CRM team
  • Translate the customer product roadmaps into implementation plans, pursue revenue optimisation strategies, clarify any ambiguity throughout the roadmaps implementation, in conjunction with ITs product teams.
Commercial / Revenue Optimisation
  • Identify opportunities and analyse market conditions to develop evidence-based revenue optimisation strategies.
  • Create revenue optimisation models to determine optimal solutions that sustain and protect revenue generation.
  • Identify potential future commercial opportunities for products through the analysis of data and derived insights (i.e., where customer needs are not currently being met).
  • Utilise customer data, journeys, and personas to understand and tap into high-margin customer segments that are likely to be positively influenced by an expanding product offering.
  • Build business cases for the continued development of innovative offerings, by motivating for the appropriate investments.
  • Analyse key indicators of products success and assess the extent to which the service offering is commercially viable; make recommendations to enhance.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on the commercial performance of products to identify the fundamental cause of performance outcomes.
  • Test the commercial viability of opportunities, guided by the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and risk appetite of the business.
  • Maintain an understanding of drivers of commercial success, and how to position TFG Rewards & Customer products, to strengthen competitive advantage.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure information, advice, or opinions regarding the commercialisation of TFG Rewards & Customer products is made available and/or communicated appropriately and timeously
  • Drive best use and adoption of the TFG Rewards system with TFG Retail brands and other business stakeholders to ensure best practice delivery and return of rewards for TFG.
  • Drive the best use adoption and utilisation of the various TFG Rewards & customer products with TFG brands and other business units, including TFG Rewards, Credit, VAS and Bash to ensure best practice delivery and return on rewards for TFG.
  • Ensure the toolkit available to various business stakeholders is easy to understand and leverage to enable their customer loyalty strategies even further.
  • Develop training material and implement change management plans when and where required fur further adoption and value add.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Business/Finance or related Degree in the industry that the Product serves.
  • Training in Agile delivery
  • 5 - 7 years of experience working in a customer facing organisation
  • Experience in Omnichannel Product Development and Scalability.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives
  • Deep Product Knowledge and/or Subject Matter Expertise in Applications and embedding these in key customer markets
  • Astute Customer Market Awareness
  • Excellent Collaborative Skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Commercial & Financial understanding
