The Opportunity:
The People Technology Product Ownerwill be responsible for driving our product roadmap & strategy. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner of people team leaders that can proactively and consistently drive value for their organizations. This requires a deep understanding of stakeholder domains and requires someone who can think in the customers shoes to proactively recommend technical solutions that are step-change innovations. When successful in influencing a decision, the person will also be responsible for owning the requirements and product roadmap, and then in tandem with the business decide what is MVP, Phase 2, and beyond. The right person for this role will have an entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and an affinity for using data in recommending action and measuring results.
This role will be based in Bangkok and relocation will be provided.
In this Role, youll get to:
- Drive the People Technology roadmap in identifying tech innovations and continuous improvement opportunities that improve our internal processes and the employee experience, including leading the discovery workshops and roadmap planning sessions
- Partner closely with key business stakeholders to assess and define overall people technology needs and strategy, keeping informed of the latest trends and best practices to consider for the people team
- Execute strategy in partnership with stakeholders to define critical priorities, timelines, issue resolution, testing, and deployment plans
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for the implementations team to deliver solutions at scale
- Evaluate new project requirements and effort estimates using an intuitive prioritization framework
- Continuously learn and iterate using best practices like post-mortems with stakeholders and project team to improve and evaluate impact
- Skill up / coach the BA/Partnerships team on PO best practices
- At least 4-5 years of experience as an IT/HRIS Product Owner
- A laser-like focus on generating value for your customers
- Proven ability to influence difficult stakeholders, manage expectations, and challenge business requirements
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Entrepreneurial and analytical; effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving business
- Excellent power skills (communications, critical-thinking, problem-solving, time management, project management, resource organization/prioritization)
- BS degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Fluency in English required
- Systems integration & implementation experience
- Experience working in a diverse international eCommerce company
- MBA or consulting background
- Experience in people product management
- Experience with the latest people technologies and trends
