What will you do?
Responsible for the implementation of products. The incumbent prepares a brief outlining the implementation procedures, the rate parameters, the business rules, et cetera and is responsible for the maintenance of product information. This position provides the training ground for the senior product manager positions.
What will make you successful in this role?
To be successful in this role, you will need to excel at the following:
- Participate in the formulation of the Loyalty and Rewards Sales and Support strategy for all its products that must be executed within the SanlamConnect environment. These products include the Sanlam Reality Paid-For Rewards and Wealth Bonus Rewards options.
- Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with key stakeholders - Loyalty and Rewards management, SanlamConnect Manco, Intermediaries and Regional Marketing teams.
- Lead the promotion of the Loyalty and Rewards products within the SanlamConnect businesses (Tied intermediaries and independent brokers) through effective intermediary engagements - sales meetings, training, sales support. Represent Loyalty and Rewards products at internal and external events - conferences, promotions, activations.
- Provide regular sales performance reporting to key stakeholders (Loyalty and Rewards management, Regional Executives and General Managers, Business Managers, etc), supported with tactical plans to improve and/or maintain performance levels.
- Provide sales support to intermediaries to ensure that they have the necessary information and tools to promote Loyalty & Rewards products to their clients.
- Tertiary qualification, a degree in a commercial or sales discipline will be advantageous.
- CFP/Financial Planning qualification will be advantageous.
- 2-5 years relationship management. sales and/or marketing experience.
- 1-2 years experience within the Loyalty and Rewards sector will be advantageous.
