Production Administrator

(EE)

Area: Montaque Gardens, Cape Town

Salary package: R14000 P/M plus provident fund, medical aid, performance bonus.

Purpose of the position: To assist the Cost Accountant in providing a centralized planning function, that incorporates inventory control. Assist production to maintain accurate stock levels by ensure accurate recording of stock on Information Systems

Key Performance Areas And Indicators

Ensuring effective production execution including printing and chasing job cards, reconciling, and processing material usage and bulk job receipts

Evaluating the accuracy of work in progress scheduled for completeness and accuracy before manufacturing or packing

Identifying and communicating variances and ensuring variances are accurately accounted for across all sites and reporting any issues to Management Accountant

Assisting Cost Accountant in co-ordinating Company stock counts including distribution of stock sheets, processing write-offs, capturing stock-count data and printing, and distributing variance reports

Ensuring ISO compliance by following ISO processes

Assisting in Performing ISO Stock Control Audits, reporting findings

Maintaining data integrity by accurately analysing relevant data on Syspro and highlighting Physical BOM concerns

Education

Competencies required:

Minimum Grade 12

A tertiary qualification in the cost accounting or a related field, would be advantageous

Experience

3-5 years working knowledge of a production administrative environment

3-5 years working knowledge of basic cost accounting would be advantageous

Experience with Syspro advantageous
