Qualifications
- BTECH or Degree Mechanical /Mechatronics/Electrical/ Automation Engineering
- 3-4 Years Part / Product / Vehicle Assembly Experience
- 2- 3 Years Welding Experience
POSITION DETAILS
- Provide direction and prioritize the activities of the Frame Area launch team.
- Lead the work station capability process at each build phase
- Ensure workstations are updated to new process and evaluate the capability to established metrics
- Champion part verification between CLL and line site.
- Lead the build and validate the APT and QPS sheets
- Identify and classify all base , difficult and critical jobs and manage their resolution
- Develop a comprehensive plan with LPWR leader to train and certify all direct and direct employees on their job
- Support all the builds and shifts with training requirement
- Lead in the development of OIS and WES
- Implement preliminary control plan , identify the changes and implement what is needed to meet the requirement
- Identify all the incapable processes and address prior to pre-production build by means of DPA5.
- Verify and maintain documentation (OJT, Versatility, and Mandatory Training).
- Work with VOME to ensure all the tools and facility is ready to support the pre-production builds and error proofing,
- Coordinate tooling , facility changes and equipment installations
- Identify , track and resolve tooling , process and design concerns encountered during the builds
- Review PFMEAs plus resolution plans to implementation
- Implement preliminary Health Charts , identify the changes and implement what is needed to meet the requirements
- Coach and support team to achieve SQDCPME objectives through standardized work.
- Meet and implement MOS standards and processes and achieve output targets of JPH, TTT, MTTR, MTBF and PM scheduling as outlined in the MOS Policy Deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement on systemic abnormalities to prevent reoccurrence.
- Mentor, nurture, develop teams to own working together, modeling the Ford values and expected behaviors.
- Create a proactive performance driven culture that listens, reacts and supports (effective communication, education, listening, and trust) to capture the hearts and minds of the people.
- Ensure basic administrative activities are completed, as required e.g., Payment of PSG, Technician, Score card updated etc.
- Improve Framing Line equipment uptime using data analysis and CMM trend monitoring.
- Develop and implement short-, medium- and long-term improvement plans for implementation within the assembly process.
- Take responsibility for investigating and introducing new engineering technologies and strategies an ongoing model introduction.
- Undertake root cause analysis and ensure Permanent Corrective Actions (PCAs) are implemented while ensuring part and product quality.
- Optimization of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity.
- Providing assistance in the assembly and maintenance of engineering and other technical files.
