Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
- Supervise and direct a team of production workers to ensure smooth operations and output quality
- Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems
- Communicate with management and other departments to coordinate production schedules and resources
- Train and mentor production staff to develop their skills and improve performance
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the sugar industry
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team of production workers
- Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards in the sugar industry
- Ability to analyze and problem solve production issues to ensure smooth operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate production schedules and resources
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and deadlines
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed
