Fast growing manufacturer in the spice industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a production manager to join our team in Kuilsrivier, Cape Town.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and controlling production schedules.
- Manage production resources to meet production targets.
- Maintain Manufacturing Standards.
- Ensure best operating practices are implemented and continuous improvement embedded within the manufacturing environment.
- Manage workforce to ensure optimal goals and objectives are achieved.
- Ensure the optimal operation of Production and Maintenance of factory.
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to expedite improvements and improved internal and external working relationships.
Job requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG is advantageous)
- Knowledge of Food Safety processes. FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP and or BRC will definitely be to your advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Pastel ect.
- Starting date: preferably 1 December 2017, latest 3rd January 2018
- Remuneration: R200 000 – R260 000 ((CTC) (Pension fund included)) p.a.
