We are an established company designing and making high-end bespoke furniture/architectural joinery and following continued growth over the last 10 years we are looking for a workshop foreman/manager to join our team.
The role is to manage a team of approximately 20 skilled/ semi skilled craftsmen/operatives in our modern, well equipped 15000sq/ft workshop where we manufacture a wide range of bespoke in-frame kitchens, bedrooms, vanity units, staircases and panelling. All items are made and prepared to an exceptionally high standard before being dispatched and installed by our team of fitters and painters.
Main responsibilities/duties will include
- Staff management
- Monitoring of manufacturing process/ efficiency
- Hands on if required
- Quality Control
- Product development and refinement
- Staff training
- Logistics management
- Maintaining excellent team morale
Must have experience working within a woodworking environment with knowledge of woodworking practices/construction methods including machining, bench work, cabinet making, finishing and quality control.
