- Civil design, modeling and detailing
- Liaise with team members and contractors
- Compilation of Reports & Technical Specifications
- Interaction with Clients and interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Key Requirements
- Must have B. Eng or BSc. Eng degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA is essential
- 5-6+ years' post qualification experience in civil engineering essential
- Design experience in building services - Must have experience in the design of bulk earthworks, streets, storm water, water reticulation and sewer networks, pump stations, etc. for Township developments.
- The successful candidate must be well versed in Civil Engineering design packages
- Must also be proficient in Word and Excell
- Valid Drivers License, own transport and prepared to travel, work on construction sites
- Must be Cape Town based or prepared to relocate to Cape Town
- Adherence to office hours and availability for overtime as and when required to meet deadlines
- Candidates must be medically fit and able to visit and work on construction sites
