Professional Sales Representative

Overall purpose:
The PSR is responsible for effectively managing a designated territory by detailing, selling and promoting a specific product range and achieving set financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Territory Management: Territory analysis, identification of high potential areas, establishing and maintenance of client relationships, management of budgets, identification and reporting of opportunities, ensure promotions are planned and implemented successfully as per marketing schedule per quarter.
* Detailing/Selling: Implementing of selling strategies, meeting customer's requirements, promoting Zoetis products within the marketing time frame provided, determining customer needs and using solution selling techniques, increase selling skills through coaching.
* Territory Administration: Complying to relevant prescribed organizational and operational procedures, regular updating of Touchpoint and planning calls on a weekly basis and indicate performance a week after
GENERAL:
Responsible to report all PV-Works cases (Adverse Events (AE) and product quality defect/s) to the responsible Technical Vet or Responsible Person (i.e., Pharmacovigilance or QA Managers).

Desired Skills and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

* A Degree / Diploma in Animal Science or Veterinary or equivalent
* A minimum of 5 years animal health experience
* Previous sales experience in the Animal Health industry would be preferable.
* A valid driver's license.
* A willingness and ability to travel extensively (locally)

Technical, Commercial and General Skills

* Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry (animal health)
* Computer literacy
* Demonstrates high level of Customer centric approach, combined with good business
orientation.
* Results oriented: eager to achieve objectives and obtain the targeted results. Can
confront obstacles to accomplish objectives.
* Strong analytical thinking, critical thinking skills, attention to detail.
* Good planning and prioritization: Maintain effectiveness with a variety of tasks,
responsibilities, or people and in different environments.
* Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills
