Sales Administrator - Rail Products

The Purpose of the role is to support sales representatives and coordinating sales-related activities within the company, they contribute to achieving sales targets. The personis must have have excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service.

Education and requirements
  • High School: Grade 12
  • Financial diploma (recommendable)
  • Manufacturing background in Rail Industry
  • Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus.
  • MS Office and Excel spreadsheets using vlookup and pivot tables and Oracle
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Customer Service orientated
  • Financial Transactions knowledge
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate sales activities by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information.
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
  • Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
  • Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
  • Ensure all accounts are settled according to the agreement with the customer
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation
  • To manage the outstanding customer balances falling due and contact customers before the balances become overdue to confirm payments.
  • Prepare monthly reports
  • Ensure creditors are paid as per agreement
  • Ensure discounts are collected when payments are made to creditors
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events
  • Ensure adherence to laws and policies
  • Report on outstanding issues and inform management early of potential debtors' problems.
