Project Administrator

We have a vacancy for a Project Administrator within the Contracts and Projects (C&P) Department. The primary purpose of the role requires the Project Administrator to work alongside the Program/Project Manager and to ensure that all project administration is managed, this includes but is not limited to taking of minutes of meetings, assisting with project planning, follow-ups with project team members and other departments, project management tool administration.

Your role:

As the Project Office Assistant, you shall be required to fulfil the following responsibilities:
  • Provide Project Office assistance and general project administration
  • Act as liaison between Project Office and other departments (e.g., SCM and Export Control)
  • Manage Shipping arrangements
  • Facilitating permit applications (Contracting, Export, Departmental Review and EUCs)
  • Follow up on project related action items
  • Assist with the update and maintenance of the Project Visual Management tools
  • Assist in developing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, stakeholders, and departments.
  • Procurement process administration and support
  • Managing of small to medium sized projects
Your profile:

Specialist Knowledge Required
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions independently.
Practical Experience Required
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a Project Environment or related
  • Experience as a Project Administrator/Coordinator will be an advantage
Qualifications
  • A tertiary qualification (Degree or equivalent)
  • Project Management qualification will be an added advantage
