The main function of the Project Administrator is to co¬ordinate small to medium scale Projects Responsibilities:
• Developed Project Plan and Schedule
• Ensuring the project scope is defined by setting up the project definition workshops and follows PM standards. Ensures that the correct decision makers are there to agree the scope
• Negotiates high level participation of relevant resources in the areas impacted by project
• Generates a detailed project schedule, effectively showing tasks, milestones and identified resources
• Ensures the correct level of Project communication and standards are set and adhered to throughout the Project Lifecycle
• Lists and collates all project risks, issues and dependencies with relevant stakeholders
• Manages Change Control and communication thereof
• Ensures Signoffs at each stage. Obtains relevant sign off of the project plan, schedule, scope or Project Definition
• Arranges Project initiation meetings and facilitates project kick off
• Presents regularly to the relevant stakeholders the status of the project i.e. milestones, Risks, Issue, Costs, Schedule etc.
• Arranges and facilitates regular project team status update meetings
• Manages regular status and communications throughout the project
• Manages project plan and ensures that the project timelines are managed effectively
• Facilitates project sign off with the Project Owner
• Minimum requirements:
o A qualification of some sort in Project Management
o Understanding of project management principles
o Minute taking and good communication skills
o General Office Admin experience
o MS Office and MS Project
