The Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects of engineering projects within a manufacturing environment. You will apply your engineering expertise to design systems, lead on technical solutions, and ensure projects are completed successfully within budget, schedule, and to specific standards.
Roles And Responsibilities
- To perform system design and control implementation of said designs, under the leadership of the Project Manager.
- To provide technical leadership with regards to solutions offered, so that projects are completed to specific standards and criteria, within cost and to the required schedule.
- To confirm technical feasibility of mechanical solutions as offered to customers.
- To provide technical guidance and support to project team, operations department, sales department and clients.
- To become and stay knowledgeable on products, components and technology applicable to the companys product range.
- Diploma in Engineering as minimum requirement Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum experience: 4 years experience as a Project Engineer preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, 2D CAD, 3D CAD
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team.
- Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally.
- A positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable.
